This page documents multiple
families (Bryant, Matthews, Welch, Dillard, Sparks, Gossett, Harvey, McBee, Cannon, Kirby, etc) that are so interlinked
that the reader is best served by the data being resident in a
single data base. Please see the references in the photo
galleries for background on these families. The first item in the
individual family photo galleries provides some brief family
history. These pages contain some erroneous data, it's just the
best we happen to have right now. Use it at your own risk.
Additions/corrections to this
data are welcomed, criticism is not. Most reasonable requests will be honored.
The data on this web site is intended only for the personal use of the viewer, and absolutely no guarantees are made about it's accuracy. Better to
regard it as totally inaccurate. Please do not write and ask for sources or quote this site as a source.
Notes for Clory Ada Crocker
[milescrocker.GED]
[crockers.ged]
There is a discrepancy in the 1880 and 1900 census concerning the name of the surviving daughter of Alfred and Sallie Crocker.
In the 1880 Ms. Census
Crocker , Alfred , head; age 26
Crocker , Sallie , wife; age 26
Crocker, Altas, son age 4
Crocker, ADA , daughter, age 3/12 [ born March 1880 emc ]
________________________________
The youngst son , William Almonth was 10 year old on 1900Ms census, so his parents must have died after 1890.
The parents and oldest sister was dead by 1900 Ms. Census.
1900 Ms Census Paris , Beat 5, micro film # 814.
Crocker, Alvis - head; age 23
Crocker, Rosa - Wife age 17
Crocker , ADA - sister ; age 12 { born 1888 , emc]
Now, how can both be ADA Crocker???? This has to be ANNIE ADDIE
CLORY ADA died shorty after her marriage to Mitchell about the time of her mother's death. She would have been 20 in 1900.
